At 2B FermControl, we believe in the power of nature. Our goal is to provide winemakers worldwide with sustainable solutions that respect the natural character of a wine. 2B is recognized as an expert in sustainable, minimally interventional winemaking, independent of corporations and other producers. Our solutions come from our own research and development, are based on EU-certified organic raw materials and do not compromise on functionality or safety.

We have made it our mission to preserve the sensory diversity of grape varieties and terroirs while at the same time making processes more efficient. Fewer additives, sustainable origin, pure and completely organic ingredients – this approach leads to individual wines with clear varietal typicity, longer development potential and better terroir expression. Our guiding principle: as much as necessary, as little as possible.

Our philosophy

Our way of working is characterized by a clear set of values:

Respect for nature: We only use certified organic raw materials and do not use synthetic additives.

Minimal intervention: fewer additives, but sustainable, organically produced products ensure pure, clean wines with high stability.

Purity and safety: Our solutions are chemical-free, vegan/vegetarian and allergen-free.

Authenticity: We help winegrowers to produce wines with a distinctive terroir and individual aromas.

Transparency and responsibility: 2B-certified organic products not only meet EU standards, but are also recognized by BioSuisse, USDA and COR

Research and innovation

In order to live up to our claim, we continuously invest in research and development. In our pilot winery in southwest Germany, we develop new wine styles, test biological technologies and invent reliable solutions for cellar management. This modern test center enables us to develop products under real conditions and provide our customers with practical know-how.

Sustainability and responsibility

For us, sustainability is not just a marketing phrase, but a lived practice. Our products are designed to minimize the ecological footprint. One example of this is ClearUp BIO – a clarifier that is completely organic, free from microplastics and completely biodegradable. In addition, our organic products are recognized as equivalent in countries such as Switzerland, the USA and Canada, providing winegrowers with a secure basis for international organic certifications.

Service and partnership

A team of experienced oenologists and fermentation experts supports our customers from mash treatment to bottling. Through our Oeno-HelpDesk hotline, workshops and training courses, we share specialist knowledge and advise on individual challenges. This close collaboration enables us to provide tailor-made solutions that result in stable, harmonious wines.
