FermControl™ BIO is a specially developed and certified organic yeast nutrient for winemaking. This nutrient enables the yeast to optimize its metabolism during alcoholic fermentation. This results in reliable fermentation and clean, varietal sensory characteristics, free from reduction or other undesirable fermentation notes. FermControl™ BIO complies with Regulations (EC) No. 834/2007 and (EC) 889/2008.

FermControl™ BIO is a certified organic complete nutrient for supplying yeast during alcoholic fermentation. It provides all essential nutrients, trace elements and vitamins for safe, aromatic fermentation.
The product supports the yeast in all phases of fermentation, prevents the formation of reductive off-flavors, promotes fruity ester aromas and reduces the formation of acetic acid and SO₂. It thus ensures clean, varietal wines with a harmonious balance.
Yes, the product is fully certified organic in accordance with EU Regulations (EC) No. 834/2007 and 889/2008 and may be used in organic viticulture.
It is recommended to add the sugar in two stages: one part directly at the start of fermentation, the second after about two thirds of the sugar consumption has been reached.
Depending on the must weight and yeast strain, the dosage is between 20 and 40 g/hL.
Standard containers are 1 kg and 5 kg, larger units (100 kg) are available on request.
