MaloControl™ BIO is a specially developed, certified organic nutrient to support biological acid degradation (BSA). It optimizes the metabolism of BSA starter cultures and increases their vitality – especially under difficult conditions.
The product contains a precisely balanced combination of essential amino acids and trace elements that specifically promote bacterial metabolism. It also adsorbs inhibitors such as medium-chain fatty acids and reduces undesirable BSA characters in the wine.
MaloControl™ BIO ensures reliable fermentation and consistent progress, especially under difficult BSA conditions – such as high alcohol levels, low pH values or nutrient deficiencies.
Due to its high concentration, even small quantities are sufficient. The recommended dosage is typically 10-20 g/hL, depending on the wine and BSA situation.
Yes, the product complies with EU Regulations (EC) No. 834/2007 and 889/2008 and is therefore fully certified organic.
